The FAST High Cut Level IIIA Aramid Ballistic Helmet combines a high-strength aramid shell with a high-cut profile and an adjustable Wendy-style suspension system. It is designed to provide ballistic and fragmentation protection while allowing additional clearance around the ears for compatible communication headsets and hearing protection.
Integrated side rails, a front NVG shroud, retention bungees and hook-and-loop panels provide a modular platform for compatible tactical accessories. The padded liner, rear adjustment dial and adjustable retention system help improve stability, pressure distribution and comfort during extended wear.

Wendy-Style Suspension System
The Wendy-style suspension system combines impact-absorbing pads with a rear adjustment dial. Turning the dial allows the user to fine-tune the fit without completely removing the helmet.

To select the correct size, measure around the widest part of the head, approximately one inch above the eyebrows and ears. Adjust the liner, rear dial and retention straps until the helmet fits securely without creating excessive pressure.
The helmet should remain stable when the wearer turns, bends or moves quickly.

- Clean the shell with a soft, damp cloth.
- Do not use bleach, solvents or abrasive cleaning products.
- Keep the helmet away from prolonged heat, moisture and direct sunlight.
- Store it in a cool, dry and ventilated environment.
- Inspect the shell, edge seal, rails, shroud, straps, buckles and padding before use.
- Replace damaged, excessively worn or contaminated components.
- Replace the helmet after a ballistic impact or when structural damage is visible.
- Do not drill, cut, sand, paint or otherwise modify the ballistic shell.
- Do not attach accessories that exceed the capacity of the mounting system.
Threat Rating and Standard
This helmet is tested in accordance with NIJ Standard 0106.01 against the specified handgun threats, with fragmentation performance evaluated separately.
Level IIIA is a handgun-rated protection level. This helmet is not designed or rated to defeat rifle threats, including 5.56×45 mm, 7.62×39 mm or 7.62×51 mm ammunition.
Ballistic performance is threat-specific and applies only to the tested helmet model, shell material, construction and laboratory conditions. No helmet can guarantee protection against every projectile, impact angle or operational circumstance.
