Description

The FAST High Cut Level IIIA Multicam Ballistic Helmet combines ballistic protection, communication clearance and a modular accessory platform in a distinctive camouflage finish.

Its high-cut profile provides additional space around the ears for compatible communication headsets and hearing protection. Integrated side rails, a front NVG shroud, retention bungees and hook-and-loop panels support a wide range of mission-specific accessories.

A padded Wendy-style suspension system with a rear adjustment dial helps distribute pressure and allows the wearer to fine-tune the fit. Designed for law enforcement, security personnel, tactical teams and other authorized professional applications.

High-Cut Communication Clearance

The FAST high-cut profile creates additional clearance around the ears. This allows the helmet to be used with selected communication headsets, electronic hearing protection and compatible rail-mounted headset adapters.

Fit and Sizing

Available head circumference range:

• L: 21.6–23.2 in (55–59 cm)
• XL: 23.2–24.8 in (59–63 cm)

Measure around the widest part of the head, approximately one inch above the eyebrows and ears. Keep the measuring tape level and select the size that includes the measured circumference.

After putting on the helmet, adjust the rear dial, liner position and chinstrap until the helmet sits level and remains stable without creating excessive pressure.

• Do not soak the suspension or ballistic shell.
• Allow wet components to dry naturally.
• Keep the helmet away from prolonged heat and direct sunlight.
• Store it in a cool, dry and ventilated environment.
• Inspect the shell, edge seal, rails, shroud, straps, buckle and liner before use.
• Replace the helmet after a ballistic impact or when structural damage is visible.
• Do not drill, cut, sand, paint or otherwise modify the ballistic shell.
• Follow the stated service-life and replacement guidance for the exact model.

Threat Rating and Standard

This helmet is tested in accordance with NIJ Standard 0106.01 against the specified handgun threats, with fragmentation performance evaluated separately.

Level IIIA is a handgun-threat rating. This helmet is not rated to defeat rifle ammunition, including 5.56×45 mm, 7.62×39 mm or 7.62×51 mm threats.

Test results are model-specific and apply only to the tested shell material, construction, size and test conditions.
