Description
The High Cut Level IIIA Ballistic Helmet with Dial-Adjustable Suspension combines a modular high-cut shell with an adjustable comfort system designed for a secure, personalized fit. It is available with either a lightweight UHMWPE shell or a durable aramid-fiber shell, allowing users to select the preferred balance of weight, durability and environmental performance.
The high-cut profile creates additional clearance around the ears for compatible communication headsets and hearing protection. Integrated side rails, a front NVG shroud, retention bungees and hook-and-loop panels provide a flexible platform for compatible tactical accessories.
A padded liner, rear adjustment dial and four-point retention system help stabilize the helmet and distribute pressure during extended wear. Designed for military, law enforcement, security and other authorized professional protective applications.

Ballistic Shell Options
Lightweight UHMWPE Shell
The UHMWPE version is constructed from high-strength ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene. It is designed to reduce overall helmet weight while maintaining dependable ballistic performance and structural durability.
UHMWPE is recommended for users who prioritize:
- Reduced helmet weight
- Improved mobility
- Lower fatigue during extended wear
- Resistance to moisture and corrosion
- A high strength-to-weight ratio
High-Strength Aramid Shell
The aramid version uses layered high-strength aramid fiber to provide dependable ballistic performance, heat resistance and long-term structural stability.
Aramid is recommended for users who prioritize:
- Durable shell construction
- Heat and environmental resistance
- Long-term structural stability
- Professional use in demanding conditions
- A traditional ballistic composite material
Weight and environmental performance may differ between the UHMWPE and aramid versions. Ballistic claims apply only to the exact material and shell construction covered by the corresponding test documentation.

Helmet Protection Against
When tested under the specified laboratory conditions, the helmet is designed to resist the following Level IIIA handgun threats:
- 9 mm, 115 gr at 1,400 ft/s (428 m/s)
- .357 SIG FMJ FN at 1,430 ft/s (435.8 m/s)
Actual performance depends on projectile type, projectile velocity, impact angle, strike location, environmental exposure, helmet condition and other test variables.
Fragmentation Performance
Fragmentation resistance is evaluated separately from handgun ballistic testing.
- Fragment Simulating Projectile: 17 gr (1.1 g), .22-caliber FSP
- Reported V50: 2,192 ft/s (668.1 m/s)
- Highest Partial Penetration: 2,212 ft/s (674.2 m/s)
- Lowest Complete Penetration: 2,172 ft/s (662.0 m/s)
High-Cut Communication Clearance
The high-cut shell profile provides additional space around the ears compared with traditional full-cut helmet designs. This improves compatibility with selected:
- Communication headsets
- Hearing protection
- Rail-mounted headset adapters
- Protective eyewear
- Face protection
- Gas masks and respiratory equipment
Compatibility depends on the size, shape and mounting interface of the selected equipment.
Dial-Adjustable Suspension
The internal comfort system combines padded contact points with a rear adjustment dial. Turning the dial allows the wearer to fine-tune the fit without completely removing the helmet.
The suspension system is designed to:
- Distribute pressure across multiple contact points
- Reduce unwanted helmet movement
- Improve balance during extended wear
- Accommodate a range of head shapes
- Allow quick fit adjustments
- Maintain internal spacing for airflow
This is a generic dial-adjustable suspension system and is not represented as being manufactured, licensed or endorsed by another helmet brand.
Four-Point Retention System
The adjustable four-point chinstrap helps maintain helmet stability during movement. Multiple adjustment points allow the wearer to center the helmet and balance strap tension.
The quick-release buckle allows convenient removal while the padded chin area helps reduce pressure during extended use.
Modular Accessory Platform
The helmet includes a modular platform for compatible professional equipment:
- Side rails: Support selected lights, cameras and headset adapters
- Front NVG shroud: Supports compatible night-vision mounting hardware
- Retention bungees: Help stabilize compatible mounted equipment
- Hook-and-loop panels: Support patches, identifiers and cable management
Night-vision equipment, lights, cameras, headset adapters and other accessories are not included unless specifically listed in the package contents.
Fit and Sizing
Suggested head circumference range:
- L: 21.6–23.2 in (55–59 cm)
- XL: 23.2–24.8 in (59–63 cm)
To measure correctly:
- Place a flexible measuring tape approximately one inch above the eyebrows.
- Wrap it around the widest part of the head.
- Keep the tape level above the ears.
- Select the size that includes the measured circumference.
- Fine-tune the fit using the rear adjustment dial and chinstrap.
The helmet should sit level on the head without excessive forward, rearward or side-to-side movement.
