The MICH Level IIIA Ballistic Helmet with Wendy-Style Suspension combines extended mid-cut coverage with an adjustable, pressure-distributing fit system. It is available with either a lightweight UHMWPE shell or a high-strength aramid shell, allowing users to select the material that best suits their weight, durability and environmental requirements.
The MICH profile provides increased coverage around the front, sides, ears and rear of the head while maintaining compatibility with communication headsets and other professional equipment. Integrated side rails, a front NVG shroud and hook-and-loop panels provide a modular platform for compatible lights, cameras, headset adapters, patches and night-vision equipment.
The padded Wendy-style suspension features a rear adjustment dial for a more personalized fit. Combined with an adjustable four-point retention system and quick-release buckle, it helps improve stability, pressure distribution and comfort during extended wear.

Extended MICH Coverage
The mid-cut MICH profile provides increased coverage around the front, temples, sides, ears and rear of the head. Compared with a FAST high-cut helmet, the MICH design provides more coverage around the ear area while retaining compatibility with selected communication and tactical equipment.
The helmet does not protect the face, neck or areas of the head that remain outside the ballistic shell.
Wendy-Style Adjustable Suspension
The padded Wendy-style suspension is designed to distribute helmet weight across multiple contact points. A rear adjustment dial allows the wearer to fine-tune the fit without removing the helmet.

Fit and Sizing
Available head circumference range:
- L: 21.6–23.2 in (55–59 cm)
- XL: 23.2–24.8 in (59–63 cm)
To determine the correct size, measure around the widest part of the head, approximately one inch above the eyebrows. Keep the measuring tape level and firm without applying excessive pressure.
After selecting the correct shell size:
- Place the helmet level on the head.
- Turn the rear adjustment dial until the suspension feels secure.
- Adjust the four-point retention straps evenly.
- Position the chinstrap securely beneath the chin.
- Confirm that the helmet does not shift excessively during movement.
Do not overtighten the suspension or chinstrap.

Care and Inspection
- Clean the shell using a soft, damp cloth.
- Do not use bleach, solvents or abrasive cleaning products.
- Keep the helmet away from prolonged heat and direct sunlight.
- Store it in a cool, dry and well-ventilated environment.
- Inspect the shell, sealed edge, rails and NVG shroud before use.
- Check the suspension, adjustment dial, straps, buckles and padding regularly.
- Replace damaged or excessively worn suspension components.
- Replace the helmet following a ballistic impact or significant structural damage.
- Do not drill, cut, paint or otherwise modify the ballistic shell.
- Do not attach equipment that exceeds the capacity of the mounting system.
- Follow the service-life and inspection guidance supplied with the helmet.
Threat Rating and Standard
This helmet is tested in accordance with NIJ Standard 0106.01 against the following specified handgun threats:

Testing evaluates ballistic penetration resistance under controlled laboratory conditions. Fragmentation performance is evaluated separately using the specified fragment-simulating projectile and test procedure.
Level IIIA is a handgun-rated protection level. This helmet is not rated to defeat rifle threats, including 5.56×45 mm, 7.62×39 mm or 7.62×51 mm ammunition.

Unconditional refunds can be made within 24 hours after placing the order. After more than 24 hours, if the order has not been shipped, it can be refunded for you. If the order has been shipped, no refund will be possible.
